1¼cupsmilk chocolate chips, semi-sweet,about 6 oz / 170 grams
3tablespoonmilk
8ozmarshmallows, large or jumbo (cut in halves),about 180-200 grams

Instructions
Melt the chocolate. Some recipes skip this step but I found that if you don’t pre-melt the chocolate first and go straight for the air frying, you end up with well-toasted, melted marshmallows but not completely melted chocolate, that’s hard to dip into.
Add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl along with 3-4 tablespoons of milk. Microwave on high for a total of 1 minute but in 20 second increments, stirring the chocolate briefly in between. Then remove the bowl and whisk the mixture until smooth. It may look slightly separated at first but keep whisking and you will get a lovely, thick smooth chocolate sauce. You can also melt the chocolate on low heat on the stovetop.
Assemble the dip. Add the chocolate sauce to a round, heat-proof ceramic dish (e.g. like a casserole or cobbler dish). Make sure the dish fits inside the air fryer. You can also use smaller ramekins.If using jumbo marshmallows, cut them in halves. Arrange the marshmallows on top of the chocolate sauce. Don’t press too much.
Cook the dip. Preheat your air fryer to 356°F (175°C) for about 3-4 minutes. Carefully place the s’mores dip dish inside the air fryer. I used the Instant Pot Air Fryer, which has a large basket, perfect for this recipe. Air fryer for 6 minutes. Ignore the Turn Food alert but do check on the dip at a 5-minute mark. If the marshmallows look well-toasted and golden brown, you can remove the dip. If you like the marshmallows even more toasted, you can increase the temperature to 400 F for 1 minute right at the end.
Serving the dip. Once done, remove the dip dish carefully using a towel and place on a serving platter or cutting board. Serve with your choice of dippers.

Store any leftover dip wrapped with some Clingrap or transfer it to an air-tight container. Don’t worry if it gets all mixed, it does when you dip into it anyway. Store for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.No dipping products were used for nutrition.
