Ingredients
1cupwater
13ozfrozen peas
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
2tablespoonbutteror 1 tbs. of olive oil
Instructions
Pour one cup of water into the Instant Pot. If you are using a steamer basket or container, place it in the water.
Add the frozen peas to the water.
Add the butter, salt, pepper, or other seasoning (optional).
Close the Instant Pot lid and lock it.
Choose the high pressure cooking mode.
Set the cooking timer to 2 minutes.
Set the steam release mode to quick release.
When the Instant Pot finishes its cooking cycle, carefully open the lid and remove the peas. Serve them instantly before they cool.

Storing tips Store the leftover peas in a sealed bag or plastic container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days(if any are left).Seasoning Salt, pepper, fresh herbs, and citrus make peas pop. You can also use a compound butter made with fresh herbs.
