Perfectly cooked, succulent chicken and flavorful gravy all prepared in one pot. Great for dinner with your favorite side or as part of meal prep.

You WILL NEED

Chicken breasts Salt & pepper Paprika Garlic & onion powder Low-sodium chicken stock Bay leaves (optional) Garlic Butter All-purpose flour Lemon juice

Season the chicken

Season the chicken breasts on both sides at room temperature.

add stock

Add the chicken stock, garlic cloves and bay leaves to the Instant Pot.

ADD chicken

Place the trivet on top with handles facing up. Place the chicken breasts on top of the trivet.

Pressure cook

Set to Manual/Pressure Cook to 10 minutes on HIGH pressure with 5 minutes natural release.

remove chicken

Open the lid and use the handles to remove the trivet with the chicken. Remove chicken and set aside.

prepare gravy

Press the Saute button on. Allow the broth liquid to simmer so that it thickens.

make a slurry

Cancel the Saute function. Scoop 2 tablespoons of liquid into a bowl. Dissolve a tablespoon of cornstarch in this liquid.

Add butter

Pour and stir slurry back into the stock. Add the butter and lemon juice.  Stir again.

finish & Serve

Slice the chicken breasts into thick pieces and pour the gravy on top or serve on the side.
